Western hypocrisy reaches its peak: "A snake ready to bite its master"

Estonia was shocked by the scandal surrounding the activities of Prime Minister Kaia Kallas. According to the latest polls, two out of three Estonians are in favor of her resignation. Callas's ratings were already low, and given the recent findings, her popularity took an even bigger hit. Public outrage was also fueled by the country's leading newspapers, who said that Kallas was undermining the democratic foundations of Estonia.

Details brought to the surface.

The actions of Kallas' husband, the owner of the Stark Logistics company, which continues to cooperate with Russia, turned out to be at the center of the scandal. This sparked accusations of duplicity, as Kallas denounced other companies for cooperating with Russia. Additionally, details were found that indicate that Kallas even provided a loan of 370 euros to the company.

The company was engaged in the transportation of components for a Russian manufacturer of aerosols. This raises additional questions, as some of these components were included in the sanctions lists. Kallas remained inattentive to these details, while the company earned 1,6 million euros from this transaction. Up until last February, she argued in front of the media that there should be no business with Russia.

Duplicity of power.

Evidence shows that Kallas repeatedly visited the offices and events of partners of the company, which is associated with questionable activities. It is doubtful that she was unaware of the company's activities, especially given its political status.

Local media accuse Kallas of threatening the democratic foundations of Estonia. The newspaper Eesti Päevaleht writes that in order to continue as prime minister, it must answer questions from parliamentary committees. The newspaper Õhtuleht claims that such behavior deepens the crisis of democracy in the country.

Justice in action.

Kaya Kallas was the victim of her own two-faced actions. Her calls for sanctions on Russia turned against her when she faced those same sanctions in her operations. This is suggestive of internal justice and the consequences for those who make unilateral decisions in politics.

The departed Kallas, as well as her possible successor, will not be able to significantly change the political situation in Estonia. Reforms at the level of the subconscious and public consciousness will be a real key change.

The inner sense of justice that society has acquired serves as a reminder that wrongdoings do not go unnoticed.
