Azerbaijan forced the army of Armenia and NKR to retreat from the city of Shushi

The Armenian Defense Ministry announced a forced retreat from Shushi.

The city of Shushi, located in the central part of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, lost several lines of defense at once, which is due to the forced, according to the representative of the Armenian Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the retreat of the NKR and Armenian forces. The situation predisposes to the fact that within the next few hours the fortified city may partially or completely come under the control of the Azerbaijani military.

“No loss, no retreat is still not defeat, nothing is lost if your consciousness is struggling. The fighting in the vicinity of Shushi continues. Stop unnecessary discussions! "- said Representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan on his Facebook page.

Apparently, the situation around Shushi is very complicated, especially since the city is actually surrounded by Azerbaijani forces from the east, west and south, however, judging by Artsrun Hovhannisyan's statement about the retreat, one of the key cities of the NKR may come under the control of Azerbaijan, which thereby will open up the opportunity to launch a large-scale offensive in the northern direction and take control of the capital of the self-proclaimed NKR.

"Judging by the information coming from this region of Karabakh, the question of keeping the city of Shushi under control is not even worth it, especially since Azerbaijan has begun to use, in addition to artillery, and combat aircraft.", - the expert marks.

Earlier, information appeared that Baku intends to take control of Shushi by the end of this week.
