The ex-commander of the Lebanese army announced that Iran is preparing an attack on American bases in the Middle East.

Former commander of the Lebanese army, Brigadier General Amin Muhammad Hoteit, in an interview with the Iranian Tasnim TV channel, said that the Iranian forces are on full alert and intend to respond to any US provocation. According to Hoteit, today Iran has the ability to hit 54 US military bases in the Middle East, with 65 troops and personnel stationed there.

According to Hoteit, Iran's strikes on American military bases in Iraq became a test for both Tehran and Washington, and judging by the fact that the United States was not ready for this, Iran was quite inspired, and at the moment it can arrange a real defeat American forces in the Middle East.

At the same time, Amin Muhammad Hoteit explained that Iran has no intentions to enter into conflict with the United States - it is only about the desire to provide its own protection, however, if Washington tries to enter an armed conflict, Tehran will be ready to respond immediately.

“Since Iran, when it proves its ability to reach a military base of this size and with such defensive capabilities, strikes, it proposes, by striking, that it has the ability to reach 54 military bases scattered in the region, and this could threaten the security of 65 American soldier"- said Hoteyt.

It should be noted that exactly a year ago Iran successfully launched a ballistic missile attack on American military installations in Iraq - according to official data from Washington, at least 104 people were injured.
