The Israeli Navy successfully intercepted an airborne object approaching the country through the Red Sea. According to the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the interception operation was carried out using the latest C-Dome sea-based air defense system.

The incident comes amid a recent massive attack by Iran, during which multiple missiles and drones were fired into Israeli territory. This time, the suspicious object was spotted by IDF forces while crossing the Red Sea, and was quickly brought under control. The Israeli Navy missile ship quickly responded and neutralized the potential threat.

“The target was under constant surveillance by our Air Force and Navy. It did not pose a security threat, so no alarms were declared. There were no casualties or property damage.”,” the IDF clarified.
