China came out in support of Ukraine and declared its readiness to provide economic assistance.

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China issued a statement in which he noted that China fully supports Ukraine and will never attack it, but is ready to provide comprehensive economic and political support.

The Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine did not comment on any details on this matter, however, a little earlier, unconfirmed information appeared in the media that China was preparing to deliver a large amount of humanitarian aid to the western part of Ukraine.

“China will never attack Ukraine, we will help, in particular, in the economic direction. In one year, our country imports goods from all over the world worth more than three trillion dollars. We are ready to help you develop. we will act responsibly. We have seen how great is the unity of the Ukrainian people, and this means their strength.", - said Fan Xianrong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Ukraine.

A little earlier, the PRC announced that they would remain neutral on the current situation, although it was emphasized that China supports the sovereignty of Ukraine.

Experts draw attention to the fact that earlier China intended to make large investments in Ukraine, but due to pressure exerted on Kyiv by the West, it was decided to abandon such steps.

It should be noted that earlier China denied the information that Russia allegedly requested weapons from China, calling the information disseminated by the media false and unreliable.
