During a recent interview with journalists from Politico, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba emotionally appealed to Western partners with a request for the supply of Patriot air defense systems. His statement, “Give us those damn Patriots,” reflected the growing pressure and urgency of the situation at the front, where the Ukrainian military is losing not only personnel, but also equipment under the onslaught of Russian airstrikes.

According to Kuleba, in the past two weeks, Russian troops have stepped up air strikes on key areas, including the Avdeevsky direction, where particularly fierce fighting is taking place in the Chasov Yar area. Here, the Ukrainian command is trying to strengthen the positions using concrete structures and wooden beams, but Russian air bombs effectively destroy the fortifications being created.

In addition, Kuleba raised the issue of problems with the supply of military aid from Western allies, noting that many countries are faced with a shortage of ammunition, which complicates the ability to support Ukraine in the current conditions.
