One of Israel's secret gliding bombs ended up in Russian hands.

During the last night Israeli attack on Syria on the night of January 21, 2019, the Israeli air force attacked the southern part of the Syrian province of Damascus not only with Delilah missiles, but also with Spice 1000 gliding bombs. One of these bombs did not explode upon falling, and practically did not suffered, in connection with which, was transferred to the Russian military for study.

In the photographs presented, you can see that we are really talking about a Spice 1000 gliding bomb, the damage of which is characterized as minor, and received only when it hit the ground. An important fact is that the electronic filling of the bomb was practically not damaged, which allows it to be studied as much as possible, which makes it possible for Russia both to start using such technology and to develop measures to combat gliding bombs.

It is known that the bomb itself was found in the Qatana area (the south-western part of the province of Damascus - ed.), Although it was assumed that the Israeli air force did not launch its air strikes on this area.

It should be clarified that Israel has not yet commented on the leakage of secret information about the planning Spice 1000 bomb.
