Creating an engine for the Su-57 fighter is postponed indefinitely

Creating an engine for the Su-57 postponed at least until the 2020 year.

The engine for the Russian Su-57 fighter will not be ready in the 2019 year. This is evidenced by the documents submitted, according to which, the engine developers are working on eliminating defects that were obviously made when creating the engine.

As follows from the published documents, we are talking about the revision of the engine units and the elimination of existing defects (their nature is not named - editor's note). According to the submitted documents, we are talking mainly about the processing of the plunger pump control unit (AUPN-117). Some of the documentation is dated 2018, but there are also documents dated February 2019.

On the other hand, it is reported that the work on the AUPN means that the Russian designers are trying to thoroughly rework the thrust vectoring system of the aircraft engine, while it is reported that "The second stage engine for the Su-57 will make the Russian fighter much more maneuverable".

According to the estimates made, earlier the 2020 engine of the second phase of the AL-41Ф1 is unlikely to appear, and due to the absence of any statements from the developers, experts suggest that the process of creating the power plant may take an indefinite period.

How did the engine creation terms change because the author made a mistake in the letter designation of the engine?

"Expert" well, you at least look at Wikipedia. Read about AL-41F1 and TRDDF

Literacy. AL-41Ф1 is the engine of the first stage. Before you write, you need to at least a little understand the issues of what you write.
