In the Nikolaev region, fragments of a combat helicopter were found.

A few hours ago, residents of the Nikolaev region of Ukraine discovered the wreckage of a downed or crashed helicopter of an unidentified type. The aircraft caught fire when it fell to the ground and, due to a powerful fire, the rotorcraft was almost completely burned out - the elements that would have made it possible to identify the helicopter and its belongings were damaged by fire.

On the presented video frames, you can see that the helicopter was almost completely burned out due to the fire that started. We are definitely talking about a combat rotorcraft, since a unit with unguided aircraft missiles got on the video, however, no other details on this subject have yet been found out. At the same time, there are no signs that allow establishing the ownership of the destroyed rotorcraft.

Local residents report that the crew of two pilots on board the helicopter died in the cockpit - he was unable to leave the helicopter during its crash.

At the moment, it cannot be reliably established whether the helicopter was shot down or crashed for technical reasons, since it is very difficult to assess damage due to hitting the ground.
