Serial production of T-14 "Armata" tanks has been launched in Russia.

After a long period of time, serial production of T-14 "Armata" heavy tanks began in Russia. The data on this matter were announced by the first deputy director of the state corporation "Rostec" Vladimir Artyakov.

“Among the main, I would say, powerful or breakthrough projects for the supply of the Ministry of Defense, we can note our new T-14 tank, which everyone in the world is already talking about. We are launching serial production. "- said the first deputy director of the state corporation "Rostec".

Earlier it was reported that 20 T-14 Armata tanks would be transferred to Russian units by the end of this year, however, at the moment, no official statements regarding the transfer of these heavy armored combat vehicles have been made. This raised a number of doubts about whether the transfer of tanks will take place this year.

It should be noted that despite all the prospects of these heavy tanks, problems arose with the start of mass production, in connection with which the start of deliveries of these tanks to the troops of the Russian army has been delayed for several years.

Earlier it became known that by 2023 it is planned to supply at least 40 T-14 Armata tanks to Russia's armaments.
