Soviet armament proved to be a powerful weapon against the Saudi Air Force.

Yemeni rebels have published unique video footage, which is a selection demonstrating the effective defeat of drones, planes and helicopters of the Saudi Arabian Air Force using Soviet air defense systems supplied from Iran.

In the video footage presented, you can see how the Yemeni rebels, relatively unfamiliar with technology, simply skillfully manage air defense systems, timely detecting and hitting targets such as aircraft, drones and helicopters.

According to some reports, Iran handed over Soviet Osa complexes to the Yemeni rebels, as well as several installations for launching air-to-air missiles from the surface of the earth, while all the means of destruction available to the Houthis have a short range, but this fact does not interfere with the latter effectively combat attempts by Saudi Arabia to launch air strikes on Yemen.

It should be noted that initially Saudi Arabia actively used its combat aircraft, however, after the defeat of the latter, it was forced to switch to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
