The Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah distributed a video recording the moment a kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle struck a military unit of the Israeli Armed Forces located on the border with Lebanon. According to experts, the Mirsad-1 drone was used for the attack.

Not stopping there, Hezbollah also announced shelling of nineteen Israeli military installations. In addition, the group claims that it managed to shoot down an Israeli drone that was on a reconnaissance flight over Lebanese territory. The Israeli Defense Ministry confirmed this information, admitting the loss of its aircraft.

These actions by Hezbollah are increasing tensions on the border between Israel and Lebanon. Experts note that the use of kamikaze drones is a new stage in the group’s military tactics and can pose a serious threat to the Israeli Armed Forces.

It is still unclear how the situation on the border of the two countries will develop, however, a statement is expected today from the head of the group, who is expected to determine entry into the war with Israel.
