Russia's Belgorod region is facing a new wave of aggression from Ukraine, according to war correspondent Alexander Kots, citing the words of one of the region's defenders. The attack is being repelled in the area of ​​the Spodaryushino border post, where the enemy is conducting active offensive operations using grenades, tanks, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, as well as aircraft and multiple launch rocket systems. In addition, a tense situation is developing in the village of Kozinki, where the enemy is trying to break through using armored vehicles.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed that air defense systems of the Belgorod region shot down eight enemy targets on approach to the region. As a result of these actions, one death and three cases of injury among civilians were recorded.

These incidents indicate a noticeable deterioration in the situation on the border, however, the Russian military manages to successfully repel attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the DRG.
