The Russian Defense Ministry reported the successful actions of its anti-aircraft forces against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to the official report, four Ukrainian military aircraft were shot down within 29 hours: three MiG-24 fighters and one Su-XNUMX front-line bomber. These aircraft were destroyed in the Shirokoe and Odarovka areas of the Zaporozhye region, as well as in Grigorovka, Dnepropetrovsk region.

“Four Ukrainian aircraft were shot down by air defense systems: three Su-27 and one Su-24 of the Ukrainian Air Force in the areas of Shirokoe, Odarovka, Zaporozhye region and Grigorovka, Dnepropetrovsk region.”, - said in a statement.

In addition to this, Russian air defense forces intercepted three HARM anti-radar missiles, three HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and a Neptune anti-ship missile.

It is also reported that 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in various areas, including Staromikhailivka of the Donetsk People's Republic, Zolotarevka of the Lugansk People's Republic, Vasylevka and Holaya Pristan of the Kherson region, Berdyansk, Novohorivka and Mirne of the Zaporozhye region.

These actions may be a response to the use of Patriot air defense systems by the Ukrainian armed forces in the southern direction.
