Pro-Iranian groups launched 13 strikes on US base in response to overnight bombing

In the eastern Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor, a missile struck an American military base located near the Koniko gas field. This was reported by the Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen, and also confirmed by Russian expert Mikhail Zvinchuk. According to sources, the US base was attacked by thirty missiles, indicating a significant escalation of tensions in the region.

The incident is part of a series of attacks on US military targets in Iraq and Syria by Iran-backed militias in response to continued US military support for Israel. Since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, the number of armed operations against American forces in these countries has increased, including the use of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to Avia.pro journalists, the attack on the American military base is a response to the night attack by the United States and Israel on Syria and Iraq.
