The situation of Ukrainian military groups in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is deteriorating every day. After the Donetsk suburb of Marinka came under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces), Russian motorized riflemen intensified their offensive northwest of the regional center in the direction of the village of Georgievka. Artillery and tank units provide active support to the infantry in this sector of the front.

Crews of self-propelled howitzers "Msta" and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Tornado-G" are engaged in fire damage to the defensive fortifications of the Kyiv regime. T-72B3M and T-90M tanks successfully destroy military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The Ukrainian military is trying to hold back the advance of Russian troops using T-72M1 and PT-91 Twardy tanks. However, in the battle of armored vehicles, the advantage is on the side of the Russian Armed Forces. Russian crews demonstrate a variety of tactics, successfully using Vant and Svinets-2 kinetic projectiles, as well as Invar-M anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). They effectively use closed firing positions and training against enemy tanks using ZOF26 high-explosive fragmentation shells along flat trajectories with the use of ballistic computers.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its reports emphasizes the activity of Russian troops in the DPR. At the moment, a real threat hangs over the settlement of Kurakhovo, which is a key defense center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this section of the line of combat contact. The Russian army also continues its offensive within the Avdeevka fortified area of ​​the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
