Syria was not even half freed.

Despite the unexpected statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that the war in Syria has already ended, experts draw attention to the fact that today in the territories controlled by terrorists there is still a huge army of militants, numbering, according to various sources, from 60 to 90 thousand people, while during the entire bloody war in Syria, 70-80 thousand terrorists were killed.

The basis of the statement by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, is unknown, but under the control of terrorists there is a vast part of the territory of the Arab Republic, the liberation of which, without Russia's direct participation, will be very difficult.

It is noteworthy that relatively recently it was reported that Russia will help the Syrian army to free the country from militants, however, to date, the participation of the air forces in the hostilities in the territory of the Arab Republic has been minimized, which causes a lot of questions, especially after that as Western media said that the government of the Arab Republic was required to pay an amount of 3 billion dollars - that’s how much Russian aid is valued.

It is possible that Sergey Lavrov’s statement was voiced against the background of a recent meeting between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but no official comments were made on this subject.
