In Syria, unknown people blew up an American armored car HMMWV.

According to some reports, the bombed-out armored car belonged to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an organization backed by the United States. However, there are also sources indicating that American servicemen were in the armored car at the time of the explosion.

At the moment, exact information about the ownership of the car and its passengers remains unknown. Judging by the video footage from the scene, the armored car received a direct hit from either a hand grenade launcher or an anti-tank complex, while the vehicle smoking in the background indicates extremely serious damage.

The HMMWV armored vehicle is widely used in the armies of many countries, including the US Armed Forces and formations receiving military assistance from Washington, including the Syrian Democratic Forces. In this regard, it is currently difficult to unequivocally establish the identity of the blown up car.
