It was recently discovered that in addition to the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, Marianna, heavy metal poisoning was also detected in several GUR employees. Ukrayinska Pravda reports this with reference to a source.

According to the information, Marianna Budanova was “most likely poisoned through food.” She suffered from poor health, after which tests were carried out, which revealed poisoning. Due to Marianna Budanova’s low weight, symptoms appeared more quickly. Confirmation of poisoning was also received from several of her colleagues from the Main Intelligence Directorate, who, being larger, did not immediately notice the signs of poisoning and are now also undergoing treatment.

The publication RBC-Ukraine contacted the special services to clarify the condition of Kirill Budanov. Two sources in the intelligence services reported that Budanov himself had not been poisoned.

“Everything is fine with him, nothing was found on him,” one of the sources emphasized.
