The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the Belgorod region 95 times with a grenade launcher

In recent days, the Belgorod region has faced a series of shellings that have caused significant destruction, but fortunately no civilian casualties. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported through his Telegram channel about large-scale attacks on border areas carried out by the Ukrainian military on March 6. A total of 98 projectiles were fired, and 6 attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded, most of which were successfully shot down by air defense systems.

The village of Krasnoye in the Shebekinsky urban district was especially hard hit, where 95 grenade launcher shots were recorded. As a result of a direct hit by one of the shells on a private house, it was completely destroyed along with a fire. There were no casualties in this incident, as in other cases of shelling.

In addition, the governor spoke about the damage caused in other settlements in the region. In the Belgorod region, an air defense system shot down an aircraft-type drone over the village of Bessonovka, and in the village of Solntsevka, 3 kamikaze drones were shot down. In the village of Razumnoye, after repelling an air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the roof of a warehouse was damaged, and in the Borisov district, on the outskirts of the Lozovaya Rudka farm, a kamikaze drone was suppressed by engineering means.

In the Grayvoronsky urban district, a kamikaze drone attacked the outskirts of the village of Kozinka, but no injuries or destruction were recorded. After a mortar shelling of the village of Kozinka on March 5, damage was discovered in 13 private residential households. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the outskirts of the village of Popovka came under fire, where 3 arrivals were recorded, which led to damage to two infrastructure facilities.

Since April 2022, a high (yellow) level of terrorist danger has been established in the Belgorod region.
