The largest foreign mercenary base in Syria was destroyed by the most powerful attacks of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Provocations staged by foreign mercenaries and members of PMCs on the territory of Syria, including in attacks on the Russian military, forced Russia to react extremely harshly to such actions of illegal armed groups. After the discovery of a large mercenary base located near the Turkish border, under powerful attacks from Russian military aircraft, it was completely destroyed. As it turned out, it was attended in large numbers by the terrorists of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group (banned in Russia - ed.).

As the news agency Avia.pro found out, Russian military aircraft completely destroyed the 111th Sheikh Suleiman army base, which was initially under the control of militants, and subsequently mercenaries, both Turkish and Western, thereby depriving the terrorists of one of the places its permanent base. As a result of a series of powerful strikes, dozens of terrorists, an arms depot, military equipment and the leadership of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group were eliminated.

Judging by the materials presented, the operation of the Russian Aerospace Forces was carefully planned. At the same time, the elimination of the base and the illegal armed formations located on it significantly changed the balance of forces in this region, depriving Turkey and the West of the opportunity to take any measures against the SAA in this direction.
