The United States is deprived of the most powerful nuclear ICBM in its armament.

One of the most powerful US nuclear ICBMs can be decommissioned due to the impossibility of extending its resource and obsolescence, while the Pentagon still has no other means capable of replacing it. According to the American weekly Defense News, the resource of the Minuteman-3 nuclear ICBMs cannot be extended, and by 2025 the United States will lose its main nuclear ICBM.

“It is not possible to extend the life of Minuteman-3. Now extending the life of the Minuteman-3 is no longer a cost effective issue. Soon we won't be able to do it at all ", - reports the American weekly.

It should be noted that American nuclear ICBMs "Minuteman-3" have been used since the Cold War and are now so outdated that their effectiveness can reach less than 30% of the originally set parameter.

As for Russia, the situation here is completely different - the recently developed Avangard hypersonic missile systems may be in service until 2040, and the capabilities of the Sarmat heavy ICBMs are expected to last until 2050.
