London recommended that Ukraine focus on attacks on Crimea and the Black Sea Fleet

In a recent publication by The Times is told about the visit of the British Secretary of Defense Grant Shapps to Ukraine, where strategic issues of military cooperation between the UK and Ukraine were discussed. The main topic of the negotiations was London's proposals regarding Kyiv's military actions, in particular, a shift in emphasis to attacks on Crimea and Black Sea Fleet facilities.

According to European military analysts, the tactic of striking ships at sea is a priority. The UK and France support the continuation of such actions, considering them “fully justified”.

Shapps was accompanied during his visit by Chief of the British Defense Staff Anthony Radakin. Together they made recommendations to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky not only on the issue of attacks on the territory of Crimea and Black Sea Fleet facilities, but also suggested that Ukrainian troops move to more advantageous positions to repel possible attacks from Russian forces.
