The official said that the ministry is now negotiating with other carriers, encouraging them to cooperate, and with Rosaviatsia.

"As a last resort, we are ready to put buses to Kurumoch airport in the Samara region", - the deputy minister said.

On the eve, 17 May, the leadership of Saratov Airlines officially announced the suspension of the company's activities from 31 May and the beginning of the forced reduction of personnel from 18 July.

"In accordance with the requirements of labor legislation, they must notify workers about the dismissal in two months, and as many still work after the closure. But we have an open dialogue with them and we are making every possible effort to prevent the closure of the airline ", - said Balakin.

The decision to terminate the activities of the management of "Saratov Airlines" was made after receiving a letter from the head of the traffic regulation department of the Federal Air Transport Agency Andrey Kruglov with a demand to stop ticket sales from May 30. Rosaviatsiya checks in relation to the air carrier began after the crash of the AN-148 aircraft on February 11 in the Moscow region. The emergency then took the lives of 71 people. As a result of inspections by the Federal Air Transport Agency, the period of validity of the operator's certificate was limited, first to April 27, and then to May 30.
