France handed over to Ukraine a new batch of RALEC F3 proximity fuses

France continues to support Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, sending another batch of RALEC F3 proximity fuses for 155-mm artillery shells. These modern fuses, starting in the summer of 2022, are supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and allow ammunition to be detonated in the air, creating a directed cloud of fragments, which significantly increases the effectiveness of fire against manpower.

The publication of video footage of these projectiles being tested demonstrates their potential on the battlefield. Despite the threat these fuses pose to the Russian military, experts are confident in Russia's ability to meet new challenges, having the necessary means to neutralize such threats.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has actively condemned Western military support for Ukraine, arguing that arms supplies not only contribute to the escalation of the conflict, but also undermine attempts at a diplomatic solution to the crisis. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, such external assistance only aggravates the situation and delays the process of finding a peaceful settlement.
