Lukashenka called drone attacks on Russian cities fake

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that drone attacks on Russia are not significant from a military point of view, but serve the purpose of information and psychological impact. This statement was made at the 52nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States.

According to Lukashenko, the use of drones for attacks is more of a tool for creating fake news and spreading disinformation than a serious military threat.

"Militarily, does this mean something? Yes, practically nothing. But it fits a fake", - he declared.

In his speech, the Belarusian leader did not give specific examples of such attacks, however, his words can be regarded as a response to recent reports of increased drone activity in the border areas.

For what reasons Lukashenka does not take into account that civilians died as a result of such attacks - it is not known, at the same time, it should be noted that not so long ago the Belarusian military independently overlooked a drone attack on a Russian AWACS A-50U aircraft at a military airfield near Minsk.
