During the period of their operation, the Ka-27 helicopters were able to prove themselves in an excellent way, which is why the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is interested not only in continuing to use these aircraft, but also wants to modernize them, which is expected to expand their operational capabilities.

The Ka-27 shipborne anti-submarine helicopters are currently being modernized by the Kamertau Aviation Production Enterprise, and last year the Russian Navy has already received a batch of modernized aircraft of this model, and, in the near future, it is planned to purchase another large batch of these air funds.

Ka-27 helicopters are the main helicopter component of the Russian Navy, which is due to the ability to perform a wide range of tasks, which include reconnaissance, detection and destruction of enemy submarines and ships, search and rescue operations, etc.
