Turkish guided bombs Sage Bozok appeared in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Turkish Sage Bozok guided bombs were found in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Turkey has tested its latest Sage Bozok guided bombs in Ukraine, which, according to official figures, were put into mass production only a few days ago. According to a number of data, high-powered ammunition capable of hitting targets at distances up to 15 kilometers was tested on the territory of Ukraine.

According to a number of sources, Turkey initially agreed with Kyiv to test prototypes of new weapons in Ukraine, in connection with which Kyiv was provided with attack unmanned aerial vehicles and ammunition, including Sage Bozok ammunition. Probably, after the Ukrainian military, and, probably, Turkish specialists, tested this weapon, the serial production of the latter began.

The latest Turkish Sage Bozok guided bombs have a warhead weighing about 16 kilograms, while an aerial bomb can fly at distances up to 15 kilometers, which makes this ammunition the most long-range among the weapons of the Bayraktar TB2 drones.

The Ukrainian side does not officially announce the use of Bayraktar TB2 drones with adjustable bombs Sage Bozok, however, such armaments are likely to bypass a number of advanced short-range air defense systems, since strikes can be delivered from almost twice as long distances.
