Evidence of destruction appeared at the Kvazar PJSC plant in Kyiv

Satellite images show the devastating consequences of an air missile strike on the Kvazar PJSC workshop in Kyiv in early January. This enterprise specializes in the production of electronics and semiconductors for the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces.

The photographs show that as a result of the impact, the roof of one of the workshops seriously collapsed, creating a huge hole with a diameter of about several tens of meters. The “before” photo of the event was taken on December 26, and the “after” photo was taken on January 12. The airstrike itself took place on January 2 of this year.

It is interesting to note that Kyiv is considered one of the best protected cities in terms of air defense. The capital of Ukraine hosts modern Western air defense systems, including the latest American Patriot air defense system, the PAC-3. However, the events at the Kvazar plant are a reminder that no defensive system is completely reliable, and Russian missiles have the ability to hit a variety of military targets even in this region.
