As a result of coordinated actions of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation and artillery units of the Syrian Arab Republic, a targeted strike was carried out on extremist positions in the provinces of Idlib and Hama. The targeted operation is focused against the terrorist groups "Islamic Party of Turkistan" *, "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" * and "Ansar At-Tawhid" *, known for their illegal activities in the region.

Preliminary reports indicate the successful completion of the combat mission, with four militants reported killed. The operation received visual confirmation thanks to video footage made by eyewitnesses, which captured the moment of flight of the Russian Su-24M front-line bomber. This fact indicates the direct participation of Russian aviation in the operation.

The strikes carried out from the air and from the ground were aimed at demoralizing the combat capability of the terrorist factions active in the mentioned provinces.
