The media reported the destruction of a military helicopter over Venezuela.

Opposition Venezuelan media spread the information that this morning, a few kilometers from Caracas, a military helicopter was shot down. It is reported that small arms fire was opened on the aircraft, as a result of which the helicopter was damaged and made an emergency landing.

At the moment, there is no information about the wounded and victims, but experts pay attention to the fact that this incident has another version.

According to Russia Today, in reality, a military helicopter of the Venezuelan Air Force, carrying no less than 7 military personnel, was not shot down. An emergency landing did take place, but it is associated with technical malfunctions, and therefore the version presented by opposition media can be considered provocative in order to increase the influence of Guaydo against the background of ongoing attempts to stage a coup d'état.

According to the latest data presented, at least three people died as a result of the crash of a military helicopter, while the fate of the others aboard was not disclosed.
