On the night of February 26, Russian troops intensified their campaign, launching a series of attacks on key targets in Ukraine. Among the areas under attack were the Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, where military personnel and military production infrastructure were reportedly hit.

Particularly noticeable was the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, which successfully overcame enemy air defense systems and carried out precision strikes on specified targets. In the Dnieper, as a result of one of these strikes, a large fire occurred as a result of the hit. During the night, at least four explosions were recorded in the city, which indicates the scale and intensity of the operation.

In the Kharkov region, the strikes also turned out to be powerful and repeated. According to Oleg Sinegubov, the attacks were carried out by S-300 missiles, but the exact locations of the hits were not specified. It is reported that the base of personnel of the Kharkov territorial defense and one of the nationalist groups was destroyed, which emphasizes the strategic focus of the attacks.

In addition, strikes were carried out on facilities in Chuguev and Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic, used by the Ukrainian side as logistics hubs for the transfer of forces and equipment.
