The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a successful operation against Ukrainian saboteurs trying to penetrate into the Belgorod region. According to the department, the Russian military, using the Tornado multiple launch rocket system, destroyed an enemy group whose task was to evacuate the wounded and dead as a result of previous clashes. The operation was carried out with the assistance of the border authorities of the Russian Federal Security Service, demonstrating the close interaction of various security agencies in ensuring the security of the state border.

An attempt to infiltrate a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carried out in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Kozinka, located in the border zone. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the enemy’s actions were promptly identified and stopped, which did not allow the saboteurs to achieve their goals and cause damage to the territory and population of the Belgorod region.
