The Russian army reportedly continues to hold the initiative along much of the front line, while the Ukrainian side attempts to launch counterattacks. The main fighting, which had previously been focused in the Avdeevka area, has now moved towards Chasov Yar and Rabotino. Information from these directions is received infrequently, and official representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense try to refrain from comments, calling for information silence until the completion of the main phase of combat operations.

At the same time, it became known that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer reserves from the Kherson direction to the area of ​​Orekhov and Velikaya Novoselka in anticipation of a possible offensive by Russian troops there. Such a decision may indicate an attempt by the Ukrainian command to adapt to changing tactics and strengthen defense on the most vulnerable sectors of the front.

At the same time, according to reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, there is a change in the direction of strikes, with the removal of some and the addition of other targets. In particular, the disappearance of the Krasno-Limansky direction from the reports was noted, while the Zaporozhye direction was merged with the Kherson direction, and the Avdeevsky direction was added.

The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces per day, according to official data, amounted to 1190 people killed and wounded, as well as significant losses in equipment and artillery, including tanks, armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers and multiple rocket launch systems. In addition, fuel and ammunition depots were hit, HIMARS shells and a JDAM guided aerial bomb were shot down, and 99 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.
