Russia successfully tested the aviation 0 missile complex "Dagger".

In a message to the Federal Assembly, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin spoke about the successful completion of the tests of the hypersonic Dagger aviation missile system. To date, the complex is already on experimental combat duty at the airfields of the Southern Military District, and by 2019, the unique development of Russian scientists will likely begin to be actively used throughout the country.

A key feature of the unique hypersonic Dagger airborne missile system is that a high-speed carrier aircraft will be able to deliver a hypersonic missile to a discharge point in a matter of minutes, which makes any anti-aircraft and anti-missile system completely useless.

Today, Russia is the only country in the world that successfully completed tests of hypersonic weapons and adopted them.

It is necessary to clarify that the aviation and missile system can be used by both conventional and nuclear warheads, delivering them to a target at a distance of more than two thousand kilometers.
