NATO aircraft were spotted near the borders of Crimea shortly before the attack on the peninsula

According to the latest data, there is increased activity of NATO reconnaissance aircraft near the Crimean Peninsula. One of the US high-altitude reconnaissance drones RQ-4 Global Hawk is conducting surveillance in the Mediterranean Sea near Israel, while another drone of this series is located at a distance of approximately 120 kilometers from Crimea.

Both drones operate from the Sigonella airbase, located in Sicily (Italy) and operate in the Black Sea. Such reconnaissance aircraft missions are usually conducted to collect data on military activities and installations in the region.

The recorded activity coincides with the morning air raid warning in Crimea, which may indicate increased vigilance in connection with possible air threats. Such NATO activity near Russia's borders raises concerns.
