Air Astana fears termination of air traffic in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstani air carrier announced a possible suspension of its activities.

At the moment, it is known that the leadership of the Kazakhstan company Air Astana announced a possible suspension of flights in Kazakhstan due to problems with the supply of Russian fuel. According to statistics, in the 2016 year, the export volume of kerosene was about 44 thousand tons per day, while in the current year this figure fell to 17 thousand tons.

Experts in turn believe that the problem is in fact somewhat exaggerated, however, first of all, it is up to the carriers themselves to solve it.

No official comments on this issue have yet been received from the authorities of Kazakhstan.
