US bases hit more than 50 times in a month

Since mid-October of this year, more than 50 attacks have been registered on American military bases located in Syria and Iraq. The greatest shelling activity is observed from Iranian-backed Shiite groups in Syria.

The shelling of an American military base in the area of the largest oil field, El Omar, located east of the city of Deir ez-Zor, became especially relevant. Four strikes have been recorded here recently, highlighting rising tensions in the region.

These attacks were a response to earlier US airstrikes against positions of Shiite groups. The situation in the region remains tense, as the frequency and intensity of attacks against US troops continue to increase, indicating an intensification of the conflict and a possible further deterioration of the situation.
