Advisor to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Yan Gagin, in an interview with the TASS agency, stated the ineffectiveness of the Leopard 2 tanks that the West supplied to Ukraine. According to him, the reason is the technical features of these machines.

Leopard 2 tanks, widely known for their performance and used in many armies around the world, have encountered problems on the line of combat contact. Gagin emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, both as part of the crews of these tanks and in attempts to evacuate equipment from the battlefield, become victims.

It was not specified which technical features of the machines caused this situation. However, this information casts doubt on the decision to choose this particular tank model for supplies to Ukraine.

Earlier, Avia.pro journalists published the destruction of one of the Leopard 2 tanks. According to the latest data, at least 5 combat vehicles of this type were destroyed over the past week.
