The Lebanese Hezbollah movement announced a successful attack on an Israeli Merkava tank near the Al-Malikiya facility. In a statement, Hezbollah clarified that the shelling of the tank took place on Tuesday at 15:30 and led to its destruction, as well as killings and injuries among those inside. It is emphasized that this operation was part of military operations in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance.

A correspondent for the Al-Mayadeen TV channel in southern Lebanon reported direct shelling of Israeli military targets in Al-Malikiya, as well as the Barkat Risha and Hadab al-Bustan facilities in the western sector. It was also noted that missiles were fired towards the Upper Galilee, in response to which the Iron Dome system tried to intercept them.

Israeli artillery responded by shelling Tal el-Awaidu on the outskirts of the city of Taybeh and firing phosphorus shells on the outskirts of the border town of Aytarun in southern Lebanon. In Israel, sirens sounded in Dishon, al-Malikiyah, Yifta and Ramot Naftali, as well as in Kiryat Shmona and other settlements in northern Palestine.

The Lebanese Hezbollah movement also announced an attack on the Metulla site on Lebanon's eastern border with Palestine, confirming casualties following the use of weapons.
