Commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuse to carry out orders from Kyiv to conduct an offensive

Former US Marine Brian Berletik, in an interview with Reporterfy, shared his opinion on the current situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to him, many commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently in favor of switching to defensive actions, abandoning the idea of an offensive.

Berletik argues that the Ukrainian army should abandon offensive plans, as this approach does not bring the desired result. He also noted that there is low morale among Ukrainian military personnel, and the Ukrainian government is having difficulty recruiting the required number of soldiers to send to the front.

With the onset of winter, according to the expert, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may face tactical and even strategic defeats due to the lack of sufficient weapons, ammunition and other resources necessary to support operations in the cold season.

Berletik emphasized that in this regard Russia occupies a more advantageous position. His comments reflect the difficulties faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the current conflict, and suggest the possibility of changes in military tactics on the part of Ukraine.
