The heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepek" demonstrated its destructive power during active operations in the Kherson region, firing salvo fire with thermobaric rockets at temporary shelters and advance routes of the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This happened in a key region - on an island ridge in the Dnieper floodplain, in the direction of the bridgehead in the village of Krynki.

TOS-1A "Solntsepek" is known for its ability to hit targets at significant distances using thermobaric projectiles. These projectiles create high pressure zones with temperatures ranging from 1200 to 2700 degrees. Such power makes it possible to effectively destroy enemy personnel and neutralize fortified positions, including in hastily erected fortifications.

Additionally, it is worth noting that specialists from the Tula NPO Splav have developed a new long-range thermobaric missile TBS-3M for the TOS-1A system. This projectile is equipped with a solid propellant rocket motor (SRM) with a high-pulse charge, which allows it to increase its range to 15 km. This innovation significantly expands the tactical capabilities of the Solntsepok system, making it even more effective in modern conflicts.
