Medvedev said. that considers Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Nikolaev and Kyiv Russian cities

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev spoke about the possibility of negotiations with Ukraine in 2024. He stressed that Russia’s special military operation will continue with the goal of disarming the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian state’s rejection of the ideology of neo-Nazism. Medvedev also pointed out the importance of changing the current Ukrainian regime.

Medvedev mentioned the future of a number of Ukrainian cities, including Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Nikolaev and Kyiv, which he considers temporarily occupied by the Kyiv regime and belonging to Russia.

Regarding the negotiations, Medvedev said that Russia is open to dialogue, unlike Ukraine. He argues that negotiations can continue until the complete defeat of Ukrainian troops.

Medvedev also touched upon the topic of recruiting the Russian army, announcing the acceptance of half a million people for military service under contract from the beginning of 2023.

Medvedev's statement coincides with growing calls in the West for peace talks between Kiev and Moscow, including possible territorial concessions from Ukraine, to achieve a ceasefire.
