Fierce battles are going on near Avdiivka.

Extremely fierce fighting continues in the Avdiivka area. Despite the intensive bombardment of the positions of the Ukrainian army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still control almost the entire territory of this settlement. The extremely high intensity of the fighting is indicated, among other things, by the area around Avdiivka, thousands of craters from artillery and aviation strikes, as well as more than a hundred lined units of military equipment.

At the moment, the Russian military is taking actions to cut off supplies from Ukrainian troops while simultaneously breaking through the defensive lines of the Ukrainian army. However, the enemy actively uses artillery and today only a small part of the eastern part of this settlement is under the control of the Russian army.

On video footage taken from an unmanned aerial vehicle, you can see that due to the open terrain, the enemy gets the opportunity to control a vast area, which probably creates difficulties for the assault on Avdiivka.

Previously, experts stated that Avdiivka, along with Artyomovsk, Marinka and Ugledar, are the hottest spots on the front.
