The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported a missile attack carried out on December 3 from Iraq against the US military base in Rumeilan in Syria. A total of 15 122 mm rockets were fired.

According to a CENTCOM statement published in their official statement, the strike did not cause any casualties among personnel or damage to equipment at the base.

The Operation Inherent Resolve task force identified the missile launch site and relayed the information to Iraqi security forces. A fuel tanker modified to launch up to 20 missiles was found at the site.

It should be noted that this is the most massive attack on a US base since the start of the conflict between Hamas and Israel.
