Russia completed the delivery of Su-35 fighter jets to China

The head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheyev, told the Interfax news agency that Russia is supplying Su-35 multi-role fighters to China. The project stipulates that the last of the 24 machines will be transferred to the buyer in 2020 year. The total amount of this transaction is 2,5 billion dollars.

China became the first country procuring Su-35. It started back in the 2015 year. This news the United States met the introduction of sanctions against the PRC. However, they had a narrow focus and were introduced in relation to the department of technology development of the Central Military Council of China. The Americans introduced these restrictions on the basis of the CAATSA Act (Act on Counteracting America’s Opponents through Sanctions). This document assumes the containment of the Russian arms trade.

The purchased Russian multipurpose, super-maneuverable 4 fighter +++ Su-35 was created using the technologies provided for fifth-generation aircraft. The aircraft is produced in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The machine has new equipment, including the avionics complex, which is based on the informative-control system, new engines with increased thrust and variable thrust vector. A modern radar with a phased antenna array and with an increased range of detection of air targets is installed on the fighter.
