The Russian military reported significant successes in the Donetsk direction, improving its positions as a result of active hostilities. According to official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, units of the “Southern” group of troops, with the support of aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, were able to occupy more advantageous lines and positions in the region.

During the fighting, significant losses were caused to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the DPR, including Krasnoe, Andreevka, Novomikhailovka, Kurdyumovka and Georgievka. The Ukrainian side reported losses of up to 310 military personnel (killed and wounded), two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles and 11 vehicles.

An important aspect of these operations is the successful conduct of counter-battery warfare, as a result of which the Russian military hit a Polish Krab self-propelled artillery mount and two Msta-B howitzers. These actions demonstrate the active use of various types of weapons and equipment during the operation.
