Over the past 29 hours, Russian air defense systems have successfully shot down two MiG-25 fighters and one Su-XNUMX attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports this.

The incidents occurred in various areas. The MiG-29 aircraft were shot down in the Elizavetovka area of ​​the Nikolaev region and Druzhovka, and the Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down in the Dobropolye area of ​​the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). In addition, it was reported that two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and one American-made JDAM guided bomb were intercepted and destroyed.

The Russian Ministry of Defense provided general statistics on losses on the Ukrainian side since the beginning of the special military operation. According to official data, 553 aircraft, 259 helicopters and 9836 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. These figures reflect the intensity of military operations in the region and the effectiveness of Russian air defense systems in the fight against air targets.

In connection with current events, the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced rifle battle on the border with Ukraine, passing near the village of Terebreno, Krasnoyaruzh region. According to him, all relevant departments are monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures.
