Russian aviation and artillery stopped the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to regain lost positions in the area of ​​Nevsky and Serebryanka.

On May 28, TASS, citing Oleksandr Savchuk, head of the press center of the "Center" grouping of troops, reports that attempts by the Ukrainian military to regain lost positions in the area of ​​​​Nevsky and Serebryansky forestries were thwarted by Russian aviation and artillery.

“The nationalists of the 66th Mechanized Brigade and the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to regain their lost positions by carrying out attacks on the Nevsky sector and in the area of ​​​​Serebryansky forestry. As a result of an air strike and artillery fire from the Center group, the enemy suffered significant losses in personnel., - the agency quotes the words of Savchuk.

Savchuk also noted that Su-34 fighter-bombers of the Center group carried out a bomb attack on enemy strongholds in the Serebryanka area. In turn, the Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems were used to destroy places of accumulation of military equipment and strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Savchuk added that the Tor-M1 and Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems successfully destroyed a HIMARS-type missile and unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Stremnaya and Chervonaya Dibrova.
