In the Kupyansk area there is an increase in the activity of Russian troops, seeking to capture the city for a second time. This was reported by the press service of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the press service, assault groups of the Russian army are carrying out attacks in the Sinkovka and Ivanovka areas, trying to oust Ukrainian units from their positions. It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled four attacks. There is an active use by the Russian side of artillery, aviation and kamikaze drones aimed at destroying the armored vehicles of the Ukrainian troops.

The situation in the Kupyansky direction remains difficult, however, if there is success in Avdievka, it is obvious that this direction could be next.
